When the class began, wordlessly, he picked up a very large and empty mayonnaise jar and proceeded to fill it with golf balls.
He then asked the students if the jar was full.
They agreed that it was.
The professor then picked up a box of pebbles and poured them into the jar.
He shook the jar lightly. The pebbles rolled into the open areas between the golf balls.
He then asked the students again if the jar was full.
They agreed it was.
The professor next picked up a box of sand and poured it into the jar.
Of course, the sand filled up everything else.
He asked once more if the jar was full.
The students responded with a unanimous 'yes.'
Theprofessor then produced two cups of coffee from under the table andpoured the entire contents into the jar, effectively filling the emptyspace between the sand.
The students laughed.
'Now,' said the professor, as the laughter subsided,
'I want you to recognize that this jar represents your life.
'Thegolf balls are the important things - your God, family, your children, your health, your friends, and your favorite passions - things that ifeverything else was lost and only they remained, your life would stillbe full.
'The pebbles are the other things that matter like your job, your house, and your car.
'The sand is everything else--the small stuff.
'If you put the sand into the jar first,' he continued, 'there is no room for the pebbles or the golf ball is.
'The same goes for life.
'If you spend all your time and energy on the small stuff, you will never have room for the things that are important to you.
'Pay attention to the things that are critical to your happiness.
Play with your children.
'Take time to get medical checkups.
'Take your partner out to dinner.
'Play another 18.
'There will always be time to clean the house and fix the disposal.
'Take care of the golf balls first, the things that really matter.
'Set your priorities.
'The rest is just sand.'
One of the students raised her hand and inquired what the coffee represented.
The professor smiled. 'I'm glad you asked.
'It just goes to show you that no matter how full your life may seem, there's always room for a cup of coffee with a friend.'

Anyway, 1 more day to the end of mid-year examination. My last paper will be Accountancy this Friday. Thank god.
OMG, I NEED TO TELL YOU SOMETHING. I had my math paper just now. OMG. I KNOW I SUCK AT MATH BUT I WAS HOPING THAT I COULD DO THE PAPER SINCE I KINDA PAID ATTENTION TO ALL THE LESSONS AND UNDERSTOOD AND DID ALL THE ASSIGNMENTS. I KNOW THAT IT IS NOT ENOUGH. BUT WHAT THE HECK. I TRIED.
THE PAPER WAS A KILLLER. HAIZ, JUST WHEN I HOPE MATHEMATICS AND ERSIAN CAN GET ALONG. FREAKING MATH.
Econs was also today and it was kinda hard but kinda manageable. ooya, did i mention that the examiner for the math paper were LATE. THE PAPER WAS SUPPOSE TO START AT 1PM BUT IN THE END IT BEGAN AT 1.20PM. chibai. waited outside the hot and humid corridor like a MTHRFCKER. Luckily the air conditioning inside the hall was turn on and the temperature was juz nice. Not to cold. But first time in my life the examination was delayed because of the examiners. DONT EVEN KNOW HOW TO GIVE OUT PAPERS ARH. GOSH MI!!!
I am so scared for the accountancy paper coz i suck at accounting. ALL THOSE LEDGER SHIT. MALAS NAK LAYAN. i kinda regret not studying much much much earlier for the mid yrs. BUT NOW IT IS JUZ TOO LATE. wateva
Anyway, before the math paper, i went to BK to eat and the food there suck cock. The burger is so salty. i thought BK was suppose to be the healthier one amongst the fast food chain. Maybe it was juz that particular outlet at WEST MALL. k la bye.

After GP went to the canteen to finish up the poster for sports day fun-raising booth. Apparently, the school decided to have the sports day on the same day as our gp paper which ends at 11am and the freaking sports day starts at 5.15pm!! 5 freaking hours to wait sia.
So headed to GV vivo to watch 'What Happen In Vegas' with Bee Hui. Walk2 around and lunched at LJS before heading to the cinema for the 2pm show. The movie was a typical romantic comedy with a typical happy ending but it was not that bad. Funny. Then rushed back to school for the freaking Sports Day.
I thought the sports day would be really boring and shitty, but suprise2 IT WAS FABULOUS minus the hot sun. The crowd were so 'on'. LOL. even though my house(sapphire) got 3rd place overall, it was not that bad. Cheering is absolutely FUN as always. LOL. And the houses chearleading team were fabulous. It is so high-school. I feel like joining the cheerleading team next year.right! HAHA. The last race was 600m relay between MI, IJC and CJC. MI won sia. suprise? Reached home around 9.45pm. A very very tirind day.
AT LAST A PLUS SIZE MODEL WON ANTM!!! AND PARV DID NOT DESERVE TO WIN, AMANDA DESERVE IT MORE. WILHELMINA IS SUCH A SLUT. CHRISTINA YANG AND BETTY NEED TO GET OVER THEMSELVES. FINALLY, WHY?!?!?! MUST DEAN DIE. SAD SAD SAD.

anyway, when we were having sectionals, a few of us sneaked out to go to the stadium to see the floorball/rugby/touch rugby people train under the hot sun..feel sad for them, i used to be in their situation...SOFTBALL....none of the seniors notice a bunch of us missing, haha...thus, conclude why i still suck at playing angklung...lack of practice...RIGHT!!..concert is next week!!! fuck sia...and i am not going to Australia with the ensemble...sad...no moolah!
i have loads of tutorials to hand in, especially ACCOUNTING....i juz cant understand accounting, it is super confusing....hate t-accounts...accounting is like math, you need a lot of practice...shall go popular to check out accounting books....BUT FUCK, the TM popular is renovating and the temporary store does not have everything they use to sell....HAIS...math is getting more difficult each topic...
On Thursday, i went to see the ear specialist coz the GP cant find any problem with my ear thus refer me there....in the end they came to the conclusion, i got ear infection...which was the same as the last diagnosis...waste my time waiting...the whole check-up was 4hrs sia...

Life has been really fun and relaxed........eat,sleep,com,out..eat,sleep,com,out....thats all...
I cant wait to start school, but at the same time i feel really anxious.....i wander if i would fit in, in the new school?? will i find nice friends?? and will PE be fun...secondary school PE was really fun because the teachers are nice and they usually don't force me to do physical stuff if i already reached my limit...the bottom-line is, they understand how is it to be fat...HAHA....what if my new PE teacher is a fucker!! i will probably cry...HAHA...i don't like to be forced...and i am sooo going to hate NAPFA...ARGHHH...fuck, thinking about it makes me so anxious....arghhh....if the school does not have CCA,PE,NAPFA...i would be soo happy that i cant express my happiness....it would be like the last few months in sec4....go school, study study study eat study study study...GO HOME...hais.....need food....
anyway, i wander why people would put up a picture of only their face in friendster that consist 70% of the pictures in their profile....don't they feel that people would get tired of looking at their face over and over again but the only diff is that they are using diff shirts and diff background...i dont mind if the pic shows their face and the nice scenery of their holiday destination and i dont mind if they have a few self-pics of themselves but dont be to excessive.....friendster should start putting limits to the amount of self-pics,maybe maximum 50%....HAHA...anyway i was viewing a friendster profile that has 195 pics and 80% of the pics is only herself....i almost vomited on the screen...HAHA...like macam makan banyak sangat brownies jadi muak but this is more like looking at shit over and over again and u feel like vomiting....haha......like 2girls1cup......
cant wait for 4th feb...PAY DAY...MOOLAH!!!.....i am going to OFC and meet all the new noobs who juz joint...they made a huge mistake...HAHA.......but i do miss OFC like 1%....
why do people like to stare at others who stands out for example being FAT!!...a hole!! NEVER SEE FAT PEOPLE WALK BEFORE ARH?? WE DON'T JUZ EAT AND SLEEP YOU KNOW!!! WE DO HAVE A SOCIAL LIFE....AND FOR YOU INFO WE CAN WALKKKKKK...HAHAHAHAHA....AND YES WE ARE NORMAL PEOPLE WHO NEEDS FOOD ALSO EVEN THOUGH WE ARE ALREADY FAT....WE ARE NORMAL EXCEPT WE ARE CUTER...OKKKK...
K BYE

Samsung YP-T10 is a very small, compact and elegantly designed mp3 player that will suit anyone who is looking for an ultra-portable device that is able to play some videos and have a small music library. I like the sleek design and the really light weight. There are a lot of other features available in the mp3 player such as built-in FM tuner, voice recorder and finally the really cool Bluetooth headset which not many competitors have in their own line of mp3 players. The sound quality is good but not the best. The screen is bright and vibrant. The mp3 player’s interface is nice and simple, nothing really complicated. The Samsung YP-T10’s has a very sturdy build and I like it because nowadays many mp3 players are so fragile that using them is somehow a chore. That is everything that I love about the mp3 and now time for the bad stuff.
I have to say that the screen is really small; I would not want to use the screen to watch any videos because it will just hurt my eyes. The touchpad is hard to use and sometimes you have to press twice before the mp3 sense it. The touchpad can definitely be improved. I would also prefer a volume toggle of any sort at the side; it will be much easier to turn the volume down or up. I also would like to see Samsung producing the same model with much more storage since the highest storage you can get with the model is only 8 GB. Competitors such as Creative are introducing flash based Mp3 player that has 32 GB of storage and Samsung definitely has to catch-up. Overall a very good mp3 player!
But seriously compared to the ipod touch, the samsung touch pad is no where as good as the ipod's....and i would rather buy creative mp3 players since it is much cheaper. Samsung players tend to be more expensive....

somehow i miss Ms rajah and cikgu afidah...i miss THE DEN, just slacking inside the air-conditioned room before lesson....and having the feeling that you own the room coz you are in PSL......
i juz realised that PSL has a lot of privileges, for example the air-conditioned room....we are the only student leader group that own an air-conditioned room and compared to the sports cap who dont even own a room...HAHA....
AND i hate work, i hate the politics at work....it is as though being back in secondary
school...bitching,back-stabbing and all those shit stuff....i think it is worst than secondary school coz the worst thing the bitches can do to you is bitch about you or spread stupid rumors about you...thats all, but at work they can give you the worst schedule and the worst job and refuse to give you nice drinks and make your day so disgusting that you can practically vomit...HAHA....MALAS LA NAK LAYAN.....i have been working there for one month and i feel like i have been working there for years......
ARGH....
